If you are looking for ways to make your coffee table look beautiful and organized, this video is just for you. In this video, Pottery Barn stylist and expert Nico De Swert shows how to make a coffee table look more organized and stylish.
Nico suggests being practical and sorting through what is already on the coffee table. For arranging books aesthetically, Nico urges piling books from large to small with the largest at the bottom and the smallest at the top like a pyramid. The use of trays is also recommended in this video. Using trays on the coffee table is a great way of organizing the coffee table space as a tray can hold all the knick-knacks like remote controls, ash trays etc. And trays can be easily removed to make space for when you are entertaining.
Another easy way of decorating and organizing the coffee table is by showcasing a collection. Nico has picked bottles from Pottery Barn and with some yellow tulips to match his decor; he creates a landscape on his coffee table. Lastly, Nico demonstrates how creating interesting groupings of color-coordinated objects to decorate the coffee table can add to the décor of your room.

How many times did he say the word “beautiful”?
There obviously wasn’t a thesaurus in his choice of colour palette.

good tips will probably help me with some designs for something thanks
I never put coffee …
I never put coffee table table books on the coffee table because someone always puts a cup or glass on them and leaves a mark or ring. And they are expensive! Never figured out why there are ‘coffee table books’. Only in a perfect house with perfect guests, I guess.

I also have magazines instead of books. But other than that I enjoyed the video
yeah…. i have a problem…. My dad wont budge to buy anything in my choice of a store (which is pottery barn) or any other store. but my coffee table is WAY messier and bigger and I’m trying to find a substitute for a tray but i cant seem to find one.
Bottles are great …
Bottles are great for a mantlepiece, but my cat would destroy them and they don’t leave any room for things that need to be there!

Agree with other comment- my cats knock over everything!!! Any pet-friendly decorating tips?
Silly comments. …
Silly comments. Design shouldn’t be about what is trendy and current, but about YOU. A room should reflect the personality of its occupant, not the arbitrary fads of the day.
Loved the bottles!
I would never put …
I would never put bottles or any of this stuff on my coffee table. If you have pets, you can say bye-bye to bottles and say hello to broken glass.. I agree with the previous poster, these ideas and colors are outdated (AND the wooden bowl was ugly).
Like the tray idea, …
Like the tray idea, but it was overkill with the ugly wooden bowl w/fake greenery. Bottles would be beautiful on a mantel but it was much to busy for a table. The last one was okay. Today design is more of the “less is more” type of beauty. This video is outdated.
